Job Title: IT Officer

Job Summary
• Manage daily IT operations and provide technical support, especially for GPS tracking systems and automotive technology.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain computers, printers, software, and IT infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot Windows, internet, and software issues.
• Configure GPS tracking devices, platforms, communication settings, and user accounts.
• Monitor GPS systems and resolve connectivity and technical problems.
• Support GPS platform users and coordinate with device suppliers and service providers.
• Maintain records of GPS devices, SIM cards, configurations, software, and licenses.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, access permissions, and data backups.
• Support networks, Wi-Fi, routers, and internet connections where possible.
• Perform system updates, maintenance, and security tasks.
• Assist management and departments with technical issues.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain IT documentation.

Required qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Required experience in GPS tracking, fleet management, telematics, or automotive technology.
- Practical experience configuring GPS tracking devices and platforms.
- Knowledge of GPS systems, GSM/GPRS/4G communication, and device settings.
- Good skills in computer hardware, software, Windows, and networking.
- Understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, TCP/IP, cloud systems, IT security, and data protection.
- Database knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
